It's countdown to the 2nd annual Desert Trash-A-Thon. Here's the action so far: February 25, 2001 - Start looking for sponsors for the project. It was a cold, rainy day, but the kidz enthusiasm was bright and shiny! March 9, 2001 - Continue to solicit sponsors for the project. When someone says no, the kidz say, "Have a nice day," and then move on. March 16, 2001 - The kidz keep soliciting, and the sponsor list is growing! March 23, 2001 - More sponsor sign up to help beautify the environment. March 30, 2001 - The enthusiasm is high, as the girls forge ahead preparing for the Trash-a-Thon. The closer it gets, the more excited they become! April 1 - April 27 -- The girls give their all to secure sponsors for this year's event. April 28, 2001 - The Trash-A-Thon!
